This website is a mainly pictorial record of BR (WR) 0-6-0PT No.1501 in service from 2012 on the Severn Valley Railway and on location at various other railways
(including K&WVR, ELR, G&WR, NYMR, GCR, NNR, P&BR, MNR, LR, WSR, SR, MHR & SDR). Visits were also made to the Depots @ GWS Didcot, Old Oak Common & Barrow Hill. After
overhaul (2010 to 2012) 1501 was painted in lined BR livery. In January 2023 it was withdrawn from service as its boiler ticket had expired. At the time of compiling this website the locomotive
is stored inside the works at Bridgnorth awaiting its next overhaul.
